Soccer club holds summer camps

BYRAM — Starting this month, the Lenape Valley Soccer Club will hold Summer Camp for grades Kindergarten to Grade 3 and Summer Skills Training for Grades 4 to 8.

Soccer Camp for boys and girls K through Grade 3 will run from July 23 to July 27, Monday through Friday, 9 am to noon, at CO Johnson Park in Byram. The registration fee is $85. A camp t-shirt and patch are included with the fee. Areas of focus in a fun environment are:

• Introduction to Soccer

• Passing and Shooting Techniques

• Small-sided games

Summer Skills Training, for boys and girls Grades 4 to 8, will run from July 23 to July 27, from 5 pm to 7 pm, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday only at CO Johnson Park. The registration fee is $75, and includes a t-shirt and patch. Areas oif focus to take your skills to the next level are:

• 1-v-1 moves to beat your opponent

• Receiving

• Finishing
