NEWTON — The Sussex Stags defeated the Silk City Sharks (Paterson, N.J.) 40-0 on Saturday, June 30 2018. The semi-pro football game took place at Newton High School in Newton.

The Stags are now at a 3-0 start after also defeating the Syracuse Strong (New York) and the Delaware County Raiders (Delaware County, Pennsylvania) earlier in the season.
