SPARTA — Train Creative, a facilitator of creative training experiences and events, has partnered with Stevie DiFrisco of DiFrisco Designs to bring a new home design series to the Sparta Train Station beginning on Saturday June 23 at 7 pm. Dubbed, ‘Design and Wine,’ the new class invites attendees to explore the world of design with an expert while enjoying a glass of wine as if he or she were at home working with Stevie one-on-one. Attendees will learn about the latest trends in the design world while also having mini-sessions with Stevie to develop strategies on individual projects.
Design and Wine will make its debut with a session set for the season dedicated to bringing the comforts of indoors...outdoors. Stevie DiFrisco will explore exterior improvements and outdoor spaces by helping attendees transform an existing design into a revitalized environment. Guests are encouraged to BYOB and BYOP (Bring Your Own Photo on your phone or printed out) of your outdoor space to learn from the best in the industry. All tickets sold to this debut class will benefit the Sparta Train Station and can be purchased at TrainCreative.org for $15.
“Design is a vital part of life and I’m thrilled to partner with Train Creative to develop a fun, relaxing and insightful design course for the greater Sparta community,” said Stevie DiFrisco of Stevie DiFrisco Designs. “If I can help attendees create energetic and dynamic spaces that enhance the way they live then I know my work is making a difference and the weight of that in my world is everything.”
As a lifestyle interior and exterior designer based in Lake Mohawk, Stevie specializes in transforming residences into current, functional and inspired spaces. From choosing paint colors and window treatments to space planning, remodeling interiors and preparing a home for sale, Stevie is a leading professional in the region who is now bringing her expertise to the Sparta Train Station in a new series of group consultations and themed design events. Although the initial Design and Wine session is focused on exteriors, attendees can bring any design-related project to the course to discuss with Stevie.
“I think everyone can benefit from personalized design advice and expertise, especially when we try to do it all ourselves with only HGTV, Home Goods or another mass consumer option to rely upon for guidance or inspiration.” said Katelyn Leondi, Director of Train Creative. “I’m so excited to offer this new course with Stevie that not only brings people in the community together but also provides attainable and tailored guidance to creating our dream spaces.”
Train Creative is planning additional Design and Wine Courses with Stevie DiFrisco Designs for the late summer and early fall focused on interiors and entertaining.
