Both the Varsity and JV Girls Lacrosse Teams at Kittatinny regional High School in Newton played in the 4th annual Hope for a Cure Lacrosse Games. The games were held on Tuesday, April 24 against High Point Regional High School. The games helped raise awareness for breast cancer. Both teams recognized four cancer survivors (from Kittatinny and High Point families) for their strength and perseverance. The Hope, Love, Lax shirts were purchased and all proceeds are being donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Approximately $650 was raised. Donations may be left in the KRHS main office.
