— The 2nd annual Race to the Top of New Jersey will take place on Saturday, May 5, 2018, starting at 9:00 am at High Point State Park in Montague, N.J. This 5k race begins at the base of High Point Monument and ends at the top of New Jersey. Proceeds from this event will benefit Pass It Along and NORWESCAP.

This 5k includes a run/walk to the top of New Jersey, High Point Monument, at 1,803 feet above sea level and return down along Lake Marcia. On this course participants will ascend 200 feet and enjoy a spectacular panorama of rich farmland and forest, soft hills and lush valleys overlooking three states: New Jersey, New York & Pennsylvania. The course will be closed to thru traffic.

In 2017, over 80 participants took the challenge. Participants and their families are welcome to stick around to enjoy one of New Jersey’s most scenic parks. All participants registered by April 27, 2018 will receive a commemorative race t-shirt. Have a fun and unforgettable challenge while supporting two community organizations located in Sussex County.
