The faculty of Byram Intermediate School celebrates the school's recognition by the state as a School to Watch. the New Jersey School to Watch program recognizes excellence in middle level education. Byram Intermediate School Principal John Fritzky said, "We are so proud of this group of educators who have created one of the most dynamic schools in the state of New Jersey! There are currently eight middle schools in the entire state that have this designation. This year the Schools to Watch committee added just one more school to the list, Byram Intermediate!"
