— Lake Mohawk Golf Club was the scene last Sunday for many blushing brides-to-be at the first ever She Said Yes! Bridal Expo.

Hosted by Cathy Rosselli Studios, the wedding photographer’s goal was to create a true-to–life wedding experience for the newly engaged. Unlike other bridal expos, the Feb. 25 event was staged like an actual wedding.

“This is really a bridal experience versus an expo. We want you to feel what it’s like to have a wedding here,” said Rosselli who has been “capturing the moments, ” for over 15 years in Sussex County. “ I recently shot a wedding here and saw this as an opportunity to bring more weddings here.”

There was a steady flow through the doors of future brides and future grooms.

Joy Neubauer of Warren County is walking down the aisle next October and although her wedding venue is set, the bride had her bridal party in tow for all to check out She Said Yes!

“This is the fourth bridal expo I am attending," Neubauer said. "I am now looking for smaller things and today gave me some ideas.”

Likewise for Marissa Meyers and Tony Salokas of Wantage who will tie the knot on Sept.15, 2018 with 170 people on the guest list.

“ I always find some ideas and inspiration,” Meyers said.

“It’s like a Pinterest in real life,” added fiancée Salakos.

Jillian Banks of Vernon and fiancé Daniel Vazquez of Blairstown attended along with their mothers. The couple has a bit more lead time with a date booked for June 2019, but getting a leg up can’t hurt.

“It’s a nerve racking experience, so being prepared helps," Banks said. "There is a great display here, and it’s nice to see local vendors.”

“I enjoy the festivities especially the taste testing,” said Vazques while enjoying a cannoli courtesy of Café Pierrot.

The event showcased Lake Mohawk Golf Club as a viable wedding venue, and vendors representing a varierty of wedding services:
