— Heavy Metal, fast food, and a show like no other: Welcome to the world of Mac Sabbath, a twisted tribute to Black Sabbath and McDonalds! And this extravaganza of a performance is coming to the iconic Stanhope House on Tuesday March 13.

The nationally touring California-based Mac Sabbath definitely puts on a show, ripping away with heavy metal tunes and its four band members dressed as if they are relatives of Ronald McDonald!

Mac Sabbath cites its beginnings to 2013 in Chatsworth, CA. when its current manager "noticed a crazed looking clown walking in my direction. Wearing a costume of bright yellow and red, and giant shiny shoes, he seemingly fit into the surroundings, but it didn’t take long to see that something wasn’t quite right. His costume was trailed by long, tattered, hippie fringe that was dirty from scraping the floor (and most likely the alley behind the restaurant), and more alarmingly his face was caked in ghostly make-up that looked like it had been smeared on with a putty knife. My first thought was that he looked like Skeletor as a member of Uriah Heap."

The clown's name was Ronald Osborne and he offered a unique concept: “drive-thru metal.” And his band had been putting on secret underground rock shows at local restaurants. Ronald wanted to bring the concept "above ground". In due time, that's what's happened and the band - and the concept - has become a hit around the country.

The Stanhope House has been showcasing scores of up and coming national acts the past few years in addition to an array of tribute, original rock and blues acts, is putting Mac Sabbath, a band truly expected to break out into the metal main stream this year, front and center to kick off its spring schedule.

The Stanhope House is located at 45 Main Street, Stanhope, just minutes from Routes 80, 206 and 46. To purchase advance tickets go to <URL destination="http://www.stanhopehousenj.com. ">www.stanhopehousenj.com.
