  • Colleen Duffy showing students her trade.

— Guest potter Colleen Duffy was available to share her knowledge and skills on January 25 for Mrs. Anderson's high school classes and 7th-period junior high class at kittatinny Regional High School.

She was able to show students how to center on the wheel, create a mug, pull a form, and create a plate. She talked about how pottery incorporates STEAM which is Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics. This is demonstrated through the firing and glazing process where glazes turn to glass and fuse to the pottery. KRHS thanks Mrs. Duffy tremendously for volunteering her time and sharing her 20 years of experience.
