  • Newton's Jonathon Borgognoni has Kittatinny's Shane Smith hoisted on his shoulders in the 160 lbs match. Borgognoni beat Smith by major decision 12-4.




  • Kittatinny's Josh Hiler grabs the leg of Nick Brigante in the 170 lbs match. Hiler won by major decision 10-2.




  • Kittatinny's Jackson Crawn tries to get from under Newton's Luke Fischer during the 195 lbs match. Fischer pinned Crawn for the win and the final score was 5-0.




— Newton High School defeated Kittatinny Regional High School (Hampton Township, N.J.) in varsity wrestling on Friday, January 26, 2018. The final score was 33-25. The event took place at Newton High School in The Town of Newton, New Jersey.

Team records: Kittatinny Cougars 10-10. Newton Braves 15-5.
