How does nutrition affect my pregnancy?

It's important to choose what you eat carefully during your pregnancy because it can affect your baby's development, including their teeth! Your baby's teeth begin to develop around the third and sixth month, and Vitamins A, C, D, calcium, and phosphorous are important for their formation. Make sure you eat raw fruits and vegetables, as this should be half of what you consume every day. Low fat or fat-free dairy products are also important, as well as lean protein, such as lean beef, skinless poultry, or fish. Whole grain products are also beneficial. Make sure to check with your physician for more specific guidelines, as well as going to https://www.myplate.gov for more info!
