Francis G. Hayden, 64, of Newton, NJ passed away on November 23, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. Fran was born in North Caldwell, NJ and was a resident of Sussex County since 1991. He worked as a senior communication technician with Infotel for 23 years and was a member of the Blue Knights. He is predeceased by his beloved wife Wendi Nicholson-Hayden. Francis is survived by his devoted daughters: Dawn Lengen and her husband Rob of Sparta, NJ and Amy Marshall and her husband Steven of Andover, NJ. Also survived by his loving grandchildren: Julia, Brooke, Hayden and Hannah and his beloved pugs; Bailey and Betsy. A celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 from 9am-11:45am at Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St, Sparta, NJ 07871. A funeral service will be held at 12noon at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Oak Ridge, NJ. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his memory to: Hackensack University Medical Center Foundation, 160 Essex Street, suite 101, Lodi, NJ 07644. Checks can be made out to Tackle Kids Cancer.
