— Newton High School defeated North Warren Regional High School (Blairstown, N.J.) in varsity football on Thursday, November 2, 2017. The final score was 33-7. The last game of the regular season took place at Newton High School in Newton.

Team records: Newton Braves 9-0. North Warren Patriots 2-7.
