Alzheimer conference for family caregivers

NEWTON — Alzheimer's New Jersey – in conjunction with Atlantic Health System - Newton Medical Center, United Way of Northern New Jersey, and Sussex County Division of Senior Services, Aging and Disability Resource, Connection/ADRC — will present an educational program for family caregivers on Saturday, October 21, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the Atlantic Health System, Newton Medical Center – Romano Conference Center. There is no fee for attending this program; however, registration is required. To register, please call Alzheimer's New Jersey at 888.280.6055.

Conference Details

This conference will offer four featured presentations: “Alzheimer’s Disease: Caregiving Strategies” presented by Heather Roman, MSW, LCSW, Programs and Services Coordinator, Alzheimer’s New Jersey; “Managing Medication in Alzheimer’s Care” presented by Michael Botros, PharmD, Clinical Pharmacist, Newton Medical Center; “Understanding Medicare Part D Prescription Programs” presented by Diane Friedberg, BS, MA, Senior Program Development Specialist, Aging Sussex County Division of Senior Services; and “Your Will Be Done!” presented by Mark J. Hontz, Esq., Attorney, Hollander, Strelzik, Pasculli, Hinkes, Wojcik, Gacquin, Vandenberg & Hontz, L.L.C..
