Participants will be treated to a variety of activities and demonstrations by female engineers and scientists. Among companies participating in the workshop are Revlon, Johnson & Johnson, BD Medical Technology, Mondelez International, Community College of Morris, and Picatinny Arsenal.

Girls will get the opportunity to interact with industry professionals through hands-on activities, including learning how Oreo cookies are made, making their own bath bombs, and working through a cyber security video game. Participants will also receive free giveaways.

This free event is made possible through the generosity of local sponsors including Gold Sponsor, Thor Labs. Among other sponsors are First Hope Bank, Sussex Bank, and Newton Walmart.

The DreamGirls Initiative is a nonprofit program committed to closing the gender gap in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) careers. DreamGirls programming inspires middle school girls by showcasing female role models working in exciting careers.
