— Sparta Books is delighted to welcome back New York Times bestselling Author Sarah Mlynowski on Monday, September 18, from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m.

Sarah is on tour promoting a new book in her Whatever After series, Abby in Wonderland. In this extra-magical installment of the Whatever After series, Abby's spending the day with her best friends, Frankie and Robin, and -- UGH -- snobby Penny. They aren't expecting anything magical to happen, until Frankie falls into a mysterious hole behind Penny's house . . . and they all wind up in the story of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland!

In Wonderland everything is topsy-turvy. There are potions that make you grow, cakes that make you shrink, bossy caterpillars, and a horrible Queen of Hearts who wants to put them on trial. Now they have to solve a riddle from the Cheshire cat, attend a wacky tea party with the Mad Hatter, become BFFs with Alice, and find Frankie . . . Or they'll be stuck in Wonderland for good!

This special edition is extra-long, extra-enchanting, and comes with puzzles, games, and a Q&A with the author!

Sarah is the author of both the Whatever After and Magic in Manhattan series, as well as Don’t Even Think About It, Milkrun, Fishbowl, As Seen on TV, Monkey Business, Gimme a Call, Ten Things We Did (And Probably Shouldn’t Have) and How to Be Bad (along with E. Lockhart and Lauren Myracle). Sarah has written short stories and novellas as well as co-edited the bestselling chick-lit collections Girls’ Night In and Girls’ Night Out and co-wrote the first ever guide to writing chick lit, See Jane Write. Sarah’s books have been translated into twenty-one languages and optioned to Hollywood. She was born in Montreal but now lives and writes in New York City.
