– Miller Brothers MMA & Fitness’ Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) phenom Brooke Fahey has made a name for herself as one of the most talented young grapplers competing in the sport and her frequent successes at BJJ tournaments around the tri-state area have started turning more and more heads. In addition to a recent feature on Wombat Sports as a future star in women’s mixed martial arts, Fahey, 16, has been booked to take part in a featured match at Finishers Sub-Only 4 on August 26. In addition to two 16-competitor brackets, the event will feature teenage “superfights” which pit two rising talents against each other in a submission-only grappling format, and Fahey is lined up to take on fellow Sussex County BJJ prospect Randi Mae Miley.

The bout will mark Fahey’s second appearance in a featured match, having previously won a title belt with United Grapplers Association in a superfight against Gabby Etzel. Fahey is earning a reputation as an arm-hunter, following in the footsteps of one of her mixed martial arts idols, Ronda Rousey. Just as Rousey rose to the top of her sport on the strength of her dangerous armbar attacks, Fahey has won 14 competitive matches with the submission.

Fahey will prepare for the match under the tutelage of Miller Brothers MMA & Fitness’ head BJJ Professor Sean “Shorty Rock” Santella, a Second Degree BJJ Black Belt, as well as a team of coaches which includes five BJJ Black Belts. Fahey has earned the buzz around her as a name to watch through her dedicated training habits, which include training with Santella and her teammates six days a week.

Finishers Sub-Only 4 begins at 12:15 PM at Pure Mixed Martial Arts in Rockaway, NJ. Tickets will be available at the door for $10.
