The Sussex Stags defeated the Central Pennsylvania Piranhas (Millersville, Pennsylvania) on Saturday, August 5th 2017. The final score was 13-12. The semipro football game took place at Newton High School in Sussex County, New Jersey.

The Stags remain undefeated with a 7-0 record (including preseason games).

The Piranhas record is 2-2.
